On Monday, August 2, 2010, AQRCODE.com - A site developed to advance the technology known as Quick Response or "QR" Codes, was launched. The mission of its founder, is to educate and inform those who may not otherwise have been exposed to this technology.
Developed by Denso Wave and released in 1994, QR Codes have taken hold in Japanese markets. It has only been in the last few years, with the advent of technologies such as the i-phone, that the 2-D barcode technology has gained any presence in Europe and North America.
